The Hazrat Sultan Mosque which is the largest mosque in Central Asia opened recently. Its total area is over 17500 square meters and mixes traditional Islamic art with Kazakh influences.
Located in Astana, this landmark masjid is evident of the islamic revival in Kazakhstan which was heavily repressed in the past.
