A sad indictment on the state of the Ummah’s ImÄn and knowledge is the wearing of garments with the Cross – even in the Masjid – under the pretext of supporting certain soccer teams. Included in Shirk is displaying or respecting symbols of Shirk such as the Cross

DreamlifeLet’s not forget about other symbols and advertisements – like companies whose shirt sponsor is an alcohol company (e.g. Liverpool – Carlsberg) or gambling company (Aston Villa, I think, and others).
And then there’s Manchester United, whose club crest has a drawing of a devil in it.
As a United supporter, I don’t like that – and so I don’t wear anything that has the crest on it. But so many United fans do – even to the masjid. Imagine making salaah, and you have a drawing of a devil right over your heart (because that’s where the club crest is positioned on the shirt).
Incidentally, there’s no satanic history behind the club being called the “Red Devils”: It’s just a name copied from a Manchester rugby club. .From wikipedia:
“In the early 1960’s Salford Rugby club toured France wearing red shirts and became known as “The Red Devils”. Manager Matt Busby liked the sound of it, thinking that a nasty devil is more intimidating to opponents than angelic babes.”

M Z nkind!!! great !!! but one flaw ...DawoodSad we think we should object to all.
I am a strong pro South African, and it fills me with gall to hear the support and admiration our people have for these european teams.
also i spoke to onegreat muslim who thought going to haj was outdated and n unnecessary expense, and that a greater haj will be completed if we served mankind…
my point if we believe that the cross was not used for the crxifiction but rather a pole then why the bother of what it synbolises, secondly if it was not Isaa [as] that was cruxified thene why the bother?
if straight lines were symbols of some sect that weill be stop standing in a saff when performing salaah…
O! bretheren of faith let us not distort our religion to such an extent that we cannot live islaam but only die it!
