IlyasAssalaamualaikum, I attended the “workshop” on 31 May & must confess that I was disappointed. It was advertised as “Tafseer of common Surahs. Learn the meanings of the Surahs you commonly hear and read. Learn about their relevance to your everyday life.”. That did NOT happen. The workshop co-ordinator essentially gave a 90 minute bayaan, then did the arabic alphabets & surah Fatiha only. It was NOT interactive. A “workshop”, my dear Brother, means it has to be interactive!. I traveled a long distance & was disappointed to say the least.
Shukran & with salaams & Duas,
Ilyas Dhlamini
