PART TIME ISLAMIC LAW COURSE OFFERED BY THE UNIVERSITY OF KWAZULU-NATAL (UKZN)
You are invited to register for the certificate course in Islamic Law
offered by the University of KwaZulu-Natal. It is a one year part-time
course over two semesters. It will be offered in Durban, Pietermaritzburg,
Ladysmith, Gauteng and Cape Town, provided a minimum of 20 students register
from centres outside Durban. Registration ends 4 February 2008. There are 8
modules covering various topics. The course is now into its fifth year with
140 students having completed. The course fee is R 5 720 plus an application
fee of R 170. Minimum entry requirements are a Matric or an Alim/Alimas
certificate.
Students may register for selected modules as well. For full details please

In terms of an MOU with Awqaf SA, the UKZN will also be offering a module in
WAQF STUDIES in the second semester 2008.

Can I do this part time without attending the classes.Can I get assistanc from the Alim in Empangeni if it is allowed to do this course part.
I am currently studying for a diploma in Supply Chain Management and will be very glad to also pursue studies on Islamic Law.
