Twelve teenagers from the Reach For A Dream Foundation were taken on an outing to the Kwantu Private Game Reserve, situated 80 kilometres from Port Elizabeth. On Wednesday 13th of October 2010 local charitable organisation, the Bismillah Trust, hosted 22 seniors from the Vistarus Community Centre in Sydneham, a centre that caters primarily for the destitute citizens of Port Elizabeth. I recently attended a Zakaah course in Johannesburg, the presenter made a striking comment in that he said something to the effect: times have changed and while Zakaah was only payable on a few items in the Prophet (S.A.W's time, it is now payable on many more items.
