(188) Hadith 1: Abdullah ibn Jaafar radiyallahu anhu says, “Rasoolullah sallallahu alaihe wasallam ate Qith’thaa (cucumbers) with dates.” Commentary: Cucumber has a cold effect and dates have a hot one.
