MyUmmah was founded and is maintained by Naeem Mayet.

I launched this site toward the end of 2007, purely as a means of collection various Islamic information I find over the internet.  Instead of storing content I found on my pc, I chose to share this through this website.  And so MyUmmah was started.  1st to benefity and improve my deen, and then those who read articles from this website.

MyUmmah has enjoyed a steady growth and currently receives about 10 000 reads (page impressions) per month. Additionally the MyUmmah newsletter goes out to over 500 muslim mailboxes weekly.
