I have the utmost respect for learned muslims, but that in no way gives this "scholar" the right to use his education and knowledge to mak others feel inferior to him..
Niqaab has always been and will be a topic of debate.., I am 18 years old, and in niqaab.. why? for my creator and my love for him.
When a muslim fasts nafl fast, makes nafl salah, gives extra zakah than whats due... we say mashallah...but when a woman covers herself more than what is fard...society has a lot of negative opinion? why, this is not right..
He has no right to ask any woman, stranger to him to remove her niqaab..

This so-called "scholar" would easily be thrown into jail by the Taliban if the "scholar" had been in Afghanistan. Who is he to say what is haram or halal??? Who is he to tell Muslim women to remove Niqab? The Qur'an gives authority to the Muslims to disobey this so-called "scholar" and his so-called "fatwa" on Niqab. I ask Allah to give that Muslim sister patience in dealing with such situations and continue wearing Niqab if she feels she should. It is HER right and choice, not the so-called "scholar's" choice...
