MyUmmah July Web Update

2

myummah-july

Insha’allah this will be a regular update on MyUmmah.co.za – At the start of everymonth I shall publish the past months website statistics & views. I am using Google Analytics as well as WordPress Stats to track visitors, pageviews & much more.

Subhan’allah, MyUmmah, has really grown – When I relaunched this site at the end of December 2007 – Daily visitors never peaked more then 10 or 15. With the support of Radio Islam as well as the Ummah.com web forums, good Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and most importantly the blessing of the Almighty, MyUmmah.co.za is growing my leaps and bounds.

July saw my (yet to be replied by SAHUC) ‘gripe with SAHUC’ which at the time of this post, shows up at no.6 on Google.com & no.4 on Google.co.za – Perhaps SAHUC can be more transparent with their activities. July also welcomed Madina’s Imaam & Khateeb, Sheikh Salaah Al Budair – who led various salaah all over the country. This particular post was discussed often with various opinions regarding the Sheikh.

In past weeks, one would notice more and more posts related to our Mujahideen, Gitmo, Caged Prisoners and so on. There are many groups & movements of Muslims who seem to be in a deep slumber when it concerns our Mujahideen. While I do not blame them one bit, western media has and always will continue to give their biased double standard approach when it comes to Islam & the “war on terror”. Perhaps giving more positive, insider news & updates from the battle fronts of the Mujahideen will spark the revolution to Khalifa.

Lastly – according to Amatomu.com (south africa’s blog aggregator) MyUmmah.co.za is the no.2 busiest Religion Blog – second to Imam Awlaki’s website. & in the top 180 in the country. At the height of July & Sheikh Budair’s tour, MyUmmah was in the top 100.

I thank you all for your reading and comments, I pray that Allah accepts our efforts and keeps us on the path of Haqq at all times.
